Revengers' Tragedy broke the undefeated streak of Red Terror and continued their own up and down season with a convincing 3-1 away win at Red Terror.
A controversial decision to open the match by kicking didn't pay dividends when a crucial slip by Molotov McSneak allowed the Tragedy thrower Sir Squeaksalot to run into the opposition half unmolested with time to pick a target. DeMarcus Ware slipped into the endzone and latched on to the pass, putting the Tragedy one up.
With only half the first period left the Terror were forced to play faster than they might have liked trying to put a semi-cage half way down the pitch, but a giant flying fist knocked their catcher, Serahim Greenblade off the pitch, badly hurting him. The crowd threw the ball across the pitch, almost directly to DeMarcus Ware, and flanked by a couple of teammates he walked into the endzone to put the tragedy two up.
But with just enough time left on the clock to score the Terror pushed for the endzone again but left too many Tragedy players next to their cage. With a hole opened up Thor Odinson blitzed into the cage and knocked Sonny Williams off the pitch, badly hurting him as well. This time though the Terror weren't about to let the chance slip through their fingers as Cheka da Menace reached out and grabbed the throw in, blitzing and dodging his way into the endzone to make the score 2-1 at the half.
Terror were optimistic heading in to the second half, a touchdown behind but receiving the kick off. They began to pull their blocking game in to gear trying to grind down the Tragedy, but a couple of turns in and they were let down significantly by a wayward block from Iron King Jozef, allowing Michael J Fox to blitz into the cage and releasing the ball. A scrum ensued around the ball with neither team able to secure it for several turns. Finally the Terror got a hand on it through Molotov McSneak, only to watch him felled by a custard pie thrown by Sir Squeaksalot. A slip by DeMarcus Ware and it looked as though another scrum would ensue, but a failed blitz from the Terror and a devastating block from Tragedy Line Rat Chocolate Bear allowed DeMarcus Ware another chance to get his hands on the ball, and a perfect pass to Michael J Fox ended the game giving the visiting team a 3-1 win.
