Tragedy 4 - 0 Primes

Revengers' Tragedy posted a shock result against conference rivals the Divisible Primes, with a scoreline no one could have predicted.

Things started badly for the Primes when Optimus Prime was seriously injured by Dr Beardface before he could take any meaningful part in the game. And as Sir Squeaksalot managed to secure the ball early, despite the rain, Tragedy looked to have the upper hand.

Things went from bad to worse for the away side as Tragedy couldn't seem to put a foot wrong, throwing some distressingly effective blocks at their opponents. Lilith was killed by a vicious block from Michael J Fox, whilst a low hit from Haloti Ngata had a similar effect on Curly Jo. The home side ran in a score from thrower Sir Squeaksalot, and though there was just enough time left on the clock for the Primes to equalise but their ball handling without their top players let them down, despite the fact the the rain had slackened.

The second half was a string of poor luck from the Primes. The ball seemed to be drawn to the best possible position for the home side, and they still couldn't put a foot wrong. A blitz off a kick off, as well as a well timed custard pie and some more failed ball handling from the Primes led to multiple turnovers, with DeMarcus Ware, Michael J Fox and Sir Squeaksalot all getting on the score sheet.
