Hey,
Welcome to what is, apparently, my blog. I wasn’t sure it would ever happen, but here goes nothing…
So after the negativity of my last post I wanted to add something a bit more positive. We're 4 episodes into the launch of the third Stargate franchise, and I have to say I'm really enjoying it. The whole series is like Voyager coming down of a bad trip, and I think getting Robert Carlysle to appear was a real coup.
Dear god, why do I still watch this show? Every single character annoys me. They're all so hateful. And the storylines are so blatantly emotionally manipulative, contrived and over the top. The only sympathetic character may be Navid, son of a porn baron. And he's whiny and doesn't get enough screen time anyway.
So along with almost everyone else I know, I've been in love with Alyson Hannigan for some time. I knew she'd gone on to HIMYM after Buffy and I'd heard it was ok, but never bothered to watch it. But E4 recently started showing it at half seven on weeknights and I caught a few episodes and enjoyed it.
Can't remember what I last said about Dollhouse and checking seems like a lot of effort right now. But season 2 has recently started so this is probably as good a time to talk about it as any other.
So this is a debate I've had with a bunch of my friends but for the risk of boring people I've never gone into too much detail. The original purpose of this blog was for me to vent my thoughts without annoying any of them, here goes.
So BSG finally finished
So, Joss Whedon, has a new show called Dollhouse, just in case you didn't know
So this post may seem a little out of place, last time I posted about BSG here I had only watched the first bit of the first season.
24 has been up and down a lot over the years,
Well after my last post was so universally condemining of British TV I felt it might be important to offer a counterpoint.
So I bitch about british TV a lot. I often claim that it is inferior to American TV
So I decided to resurrect my blog here, especially as we're about to launch
Daphne centric episodes were few and far between in the early seasons
Most people seem to think that Frasier jumped the shark when Niles and Daphne got together
So finale season kind of snuck up on me. I guess I knew it was coming
30 Rock has been scaring me a lot lately
Now this is how to get me to question everything I believe in
This was another episode with great writing and direction
I think I have run out of superlatives to describe BSG, this was another one that I enjoyed immensely
