A roleplay Character is the person (or creature) portrayed by a player in a roleplay game. It is the role they are playing!

Gre'chen is a specialist diagnostics and repair technician and junior medic assigned to the crew.
He Who Brings the Night is a Daybreak Caste created for JD's Penitence trilogy
Herla is a Full Moon Lunar from BSR's campaign 'Golden Opportunity'. She lives to protect those who cannot protect themselves, help the helpless, and steal skyships from the Realm, who she hates.
Hero-in-a-Half-Shell is a young man taken from privilege and plenty to the edges of the world where he must run from his former life to stay alive. Armed only with a powerful ancient scroll, three talented brothers, two magic swords, a can-do attitude and the shapeshifting power of a mercurial god grafted to his soul, who knows what lies in store for this pizza-loving reptile-boy.
James Brennan (played by Colin Farrel) is a young, successful surgeon at Charing Cross Hospital in London. He's been a high-flyer for many years, and one of the foremost success stories of the University of Dublin medical school. He has become a world authority on prosthetic limb replacement, and the integration of robotics technology.
Jian Tsu spent the majority of his life in the Scavenger Lands, making a living by designing and constructing a variety of aqeducts, force pumps, water wheels and various custom hydraulic systems. His natural talents ensured his success and he was sought throughout the East.
The Accident changed most of that. Thanks to his divine connections, his mangled arm and lost eye could be replaced and even upgraded. However, no amount of craft could undo the harm to Jian's reputation, or the burden of those lives on his conscience. Work began to dry up and Jian started to drink his fortune away. Once a gregarious and popular artisan, Jian grew increasingly taciturn and insular.
The opportunity to join the crew of the ship, working in the engine room provided Jian with a new lease on life. Although he is approaching his twilight years, Jian remains in excellent physical condition, and his experience has made him a source of obscure information. He remains uncommunicative, broody and occasionally prickly but he's very good at his job, and has earned the respect of the people he works with.
Kieran Ward (played by Cillian Murphy) is a young and competent landscape gardener who supplements his day job with night work at artsy bars and cafes to make ends meet. This also allows him to indulge his passion for writing poetry which he performs from time to time to reasonable reception. But his work has been taking a stranger turn of late and he finds himself in London as he tries to figure out what to do with his life. His past is a bit of a blank and having grown up in both Ireland and Boston, he often thinks of himself as a bit of a misfit wherever he goes...
Takezo is my character in the S:PI campaign. He dresses in a simple Gi almost all the time, he is tall and slim with good muscle tone and has his long thin white hair in a pony-tail down his back. He keeps his katana peace bonded when operating in Yu-Shan or the more civilised areas of creation.

Nascent Blossom is the Heavenly agent in the Exalted chronicle Scrolls of the Monk, wandering Creation in search of learning, revenge and the means to return to Yu-Shan safely...
Nightshade is a Hidden Sun from the Golden Opportunity Campaign. A mortal love of the deceased Ferric, she travelled across Creation to find him, exalted when somebody tried to drop a sentient mountain on her, and made it to Nexus just in time to miss her beloved's funeral.
Perfected Lotus is an archetypal wandering martial artist. He is a self-sufficient man, proficient in all forms of combat. He is both athletic and hardy, able to dodge blows, or simply absorb them with no apparent effect. Perfected Lotus is certainly striking in social situations, but he comes across to most as arrogant, unlikeable and stubborn. That said, he has been living on the Blessed Isle for his entire life, and has not failed to pick up the elegant and intricate systems of wordless expression so popular among the Dynasts. Although he is reasonably virtuous, few would describe him as a hero.
Red Dawn is a Chosen of Battles currently assigned to the S/PI/007 task force. He is currently on a break from this assignment and therefore, rather than getting to shine a light on the inherent corruption of factional politics, he is spending his time trying to survive the suicidal missions on which his faction-led division send him.
Shroud of Mist is a Sidereal Exalt, Chosen of Secrets. He is independent of the Factions, preferring to do the job he was chosen for rather than waste his effort on a meaningless battle of bureaucratic wills. Although he is young, he has impressed several people within the Bureau of Destiny with his dedication and his ability to pull useful information out of the vaguest of circumstances.
